What is RSS (Real Simple Syndication)?

RSS feeds provide you small summaries about the latest updates to the site (e.g. the last five news stories or the last ten new releases added). You can even feature these items on your own site. You can view these feeds by using readers such as those built into browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Opera or by downloading a stand-alone app. Some websites (Yahoo, Google, and GMail) also allow you to view these feeds.
