Eastern Eye ScotlandPosted: February 2Contrary to what the title may suggest, this article is neither about Frank Sinatra nor has it anything to do with New York however you can most definitely take the title literally. It is in fact time to start spreading the news – the news being the launch of Eastern Eye Scotland, a brand new newspaper for the Asian community in Scotland. The aim of Eastern Eye Scotland is to keep members of the community informed on a weekly basis of what is happening in both Scotland and around the world. The newspaper will also allow members of the Asian Community to keep ties with those in their home countries whilst also providing the younger generation an opportunity to build those ties for themselves. Eastern Eye Scotland is also moving with the times by being available to read on-line at www.easterneyescotland.com The website will also include useful information on jobs, letters, dating and even an Asian bookshop. Wayne Bower of Eastern Eye Scotland was extremely excited – “It is great to be able to launch a newspaper which will bring so much value to the Asian Community in Scotland. They will be able to know exactly what’s going on both on their doorstep and around the world. In addition, we are really looking forward to working with Oceanic Consulting to let everyone know about the newspaper”. Following the decision to launch Eastern Eye Scotland, the team have made another successful decision by appointing Oceanic Consulting to be responsible for all PR and Marketing related to the newspaper in Scotland. Oceanic Consulting is Scotland’s leading Black & Ethnic Consulting & Promotions Company. With the success of their previous events and dedication to our customer needs, we have established a respectable database of companies known locally and nation-wide. Our success stems from being committed to our work and maintaining exceptional standards. Vijay Gindha, Commercial Director of Oceanic Consulting also recognised the excellent opportunity – “This is a great opportunity to welcome the world into Scotland and also let the world know about Scotland and the successful Asian Community that exists. Eastern Eye Scotland will really bring the community closer together. We look forward to helping to achieve and being a part of its success”. 0 comments |
