The latest beats with modern melodies mixed with the traditional, the musical and that X factor ! Kam has produced this album and reflects his love for Bhangra music. With the unique Kam Bhamra ‘sound’ to which audiences rush to the dance floor. An eight track album which has been described as pure uncut “there is no filling here” - a must have album. History I met Kam at the age of 22 just before he launched his first album, he asked me to listen to it on a night out and that’s about it, a few weeks went by and we had been out at a few gigs and he asked me to manage him there came the test , well first of all I asked him to sing to me right there in the car and that was the first step along this road where we now meet you. It has been a long road to the point we are at today, we had to work hard to promote an album to which to some degree we did not want to release, even though the album release six months late and beyond expectations went on to establish Kam Bhamra. We have enjoyed a succesfull year playing at various gigs, events and melas. With a huge following on the live circuit, we played to mixed audiences across the UK and were asked to perform abroad. April 2002 saw the launch of project Gold, employing a number of people to work on the project we were totally in control of the whole project from day one, Goldrush is the result of 12 months of work, Kam Bhamra will be one of the biggest sellers of 2003. This industry is all about heart and Kam Bhamra is here to stay. Through the early setbacks all the hard work and dedication continues to pay off. With a new set of rules and a huge gain in quality we are proud of our product. Goldrush is about the listener, the audience, musically , production wise, listen to it, dissect it, its all there in one package. “Without the bad days how can you appreciate the good ones and you should make sure there are more good days than bad ones.” I asked Kam why he does what he does, is it the money, the fame, the adoring fans and with a smile he answered, “If I make just one person happy, with my performance, then I am happy.” Kam Bhamra is great live, always has been and always will be.
