![]() It's here!!The much anticipated release 'BACH KE' showcases the talents of J.i.D, the freshest Punjabi vocalist to emerge from the UK.After further fine tuning his vocals, J.i.D embarked on a project to produce an album in India. "Many U.K. producers turn to India in the search for raw traditional vocals. I thought I'd do the opposite and be a vocalist travelling to India for my production" – J.i.D The plan was simple. Find 10 songs from the U.K. and India that have an international appeal. Then find an independent music director with traditional Bhangra ideals, to be assigned with the task of creating the album. The result is a 10 track extravaganza! At only £5 a CD this is a value added Desi monster of an album summing up the Indian music scene in one neat package. With all vocals provided by J.i.D, still hot after the K Kapella release 'Coming Tru', the album represents the true colours of a British Asian trained in India. Featuring music by Jassi Bros, the most talented young duo in India, this album transcends all International boundaries. The album provides a snapshot of the contemporary Indian Bhangra scene and a glimpse of a traditional 'back to roots' singer, a side of J.i.D that has never been heard before, until now. "My aim was to create an album that holds on to the traditional cultural values contained in Bhangra music. An album that is free of samples, rapping, MCing, British-Asian gimmicks and other Western ideals" – J.i.D Upon conclusion J.i.D herein presents his results to the general public. Listen and enjoy...
