Elusive - Exhibit A

Elusive - Exhibit A

Xplosive Soundz
Release date: November 2005

November 2005 sees the launch of the ground breaking debut album ‘Exhibit A’ from Elusive, one of the UK’s most talented up and coming Asian artists.

Elusive is all set to infiltrate the Asian music industry with an innovative production style fusing eastern influences and instruments with hard hitting beats and sounds. Elusive’s musical influences for the album range from smooth ‘R’&‘B’ and gritty Hip Hop, through to raw, Traditional Desi Bhangra. ‘Exhibit A’ is a truly original album and experience, with track after track offering something new and interesting to listen to.

Overall ‘Exhibit A’ has a wide appeal and caters for many tastes.

Elusive is made up from the members Laddy, Sak, Ms N-V and Stacy B. Laddy and Sak first came together to form Elusive 3 years ago. Ater both having many set backs in the industry, they then met Ms N-V (vocalist/lyricist) and Stacy B (rapper/lyricist) who’s vocal styles have helped give the album the ‘R’&‘B’ and Hip Hop sound Elusive was looking for. After many years of hard work, dedication and commitment, the 10 track debut album was complete and the search for a record deal began.

Many labels they approached offered deals that just didn’t suit what Elusive was set out to do. They then came across Xplosive Soundz. After hearing the album, Xplosive Soundz offered a record deal which was exactly what Elusive had been hoping for. The deal was signed, and finally a release date for the album was set.

Elusive’s ambitions are to establish themselves well within the Bhangra industry with the
release of there debut album ‘Exhibit A’ as well as featuring on the up and coming
compilation album from Xplosive Soundz (which will also feature the likes of Aman Hayer,
Gupsy and HQ).

Their long term ambition is to break into the mainstream market. Although this is very
ambitious and not done by many, Elusive’s unique sound and solid production shows
potential for this. This can be seen in the Ishq Ka Part 2 track on the album, which has a
very mainstream sound, but still has enough Asian influence to be unique and catchy.

‘Exhibit A’ is set to be released in the UK, on the exciting, new and expanding
Xplosive Soundz label.
